Spinach Mixture
- 20 Oz Frozen Spinach, thawed and drained very well
- 2 Tbs Butter
- 1 Small Onion, chopped
- 4 Cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 Tbs Garlic Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Cream Sauce
- 4 Oz Cream Cheese, room temperature
- 1 Cup Heavy Cream, room temperature
- 1 Cup Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Sauté Onion: Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened and translucent, about 4-5 minutes.
- Add Garlic: Add the chopped garlic to the pan with the onions. Cook together for another minute, stirring frequently so the garlic does not burn.
- Cook Spinach: Add the thawed and drained spinach to the pan. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir well to combine and sauté for 3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add Cream Cheese: Stir in the softened cream cheese until it melts completely and blends smoothly with the spinach mixture.
- Mix in Cream and Parmesan: Pour in the heavy cream and then sprinkle in the Parmesan cheese. Stir continuously until the cheese melts and the sauce is creamy and well combined.
