Description

These Gut Healing Gummies are a simple, nutritious treat designed to support gut health. Made from natural juice and gelatin, they offer an easy way to incorporate collagen and other beneficial nutrients into your diet. Perfect as a healthy snack, these gummies are free from artificial additives and can be customized with any juice flavor except pineapple.

Ingredients

Scale

Base Ingredients

  • Coconut oil for greasing the pan (about 1 teaspoon)
  • 4 cups of juice (any juice other than pineapple, divided)
  • 8 tablespoons gelatin (Vital Proteins recommended)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Lightly grease an 8”x8” pan with coconut oil to ensure the gummies do not stick once set.
  2. Bloom the Gelatin: Pour 3 cups of the juice into a wide, shallow bowl. Evenly sprinkle 8 tablespoons of gelatin over the surface. Let it sit undisturbed for 3-5 minutes until the gelatin absorbs the juice fully and resembles a thick applesauce-like consistency with no visible white gelatin.
  3. Heat Remaining Juice: While the gelatin is blooming, heat the remaining 1 cup of juice in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat until it’s hot but not boiling.
  4. Dissolve Gelatin: Add the gelatin and juice mixture to the heated juice in the saucepan and stir continuously until completely dissolved. This ensures the gummies will set properly.
  5. Set the Gummies: Pour the fully combined mixture carefully into the prepared pan. Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 4-5 hours to allow the gummies to firm up completely.
  6. Cut and Serve: Once set, remove the gummies from the pan and cut them into squares or any shape you prefer. Enjoy your gut-supporting homemade gummies as a healthy snack!

Notes

  • Use juice flavors other than pineapple, as pineapple contains enzymes that can prevent gelatin from setting properly.
  • For firmer gummies, you can increase the gelatin slightly or reduce the juice amount.
  • Store gummies in an airtight container in the refrigerator to maintain their texture and freshness.
  • Gelatin brands may vary; Vital Proteins is recommended for best results.
  • These gummies are naturally gluten-free and free from added sugars if you use natural juice without added sugar.
