Ingredients
Scale
Brownies
- 1 package of Fudge brownie mix (follow package directions or 1 package of ready-made brownies)
Peanut Butter Cups
- 2– 13 ounce packages of Reese’s Miniature cups
Pudding Mixture
- 2 packages of instant vanilla pudding mix
- 4 cups of chilled milk
- 1 cup of smooth or chunky peanut butter
- 4 teaspoons of vanilla extract
Topping
- 16 ounces of whipped topping (thawed or homemade)
Instructions
- Preparing Brownies: If using homemade brownies, prepare the mix according to the package directions and bake them at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Allow to cool completely before proceeding.
- Organizing Ingredients: For pre-made brownies, crumble them into approximately ¾ inch chunks. Slice the peanut butter cups in half and reserve ⅓ cup of them for garnishing later in the recipe.
- Pudding Preparation: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the instant vanilla pudding mix and chilled milk for a couple of minutes until the mixture thickens. Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until fully combined and smooth.
- Assembling the Layers: Gently fold the whipped topping into the pudding mixture to create a creamy filling. In a 5-quart bowl, start layering by placing one-third of the crumbled brownies at the bottom.
- Layering the Goodness: Over the brownies, add one-third of the sliced peanut butter cups evenly. Spoon one-third of the pudding mixture on top of the peanut butter cups layer.
- Finishing Touches: Repeat the layering process two more times, ending with a final layer of pudding mixture topped with the remaining whipped topping to cover it completely.
- Garnishing and Chilling: Garnish the top layer with the reserved peanut butter cup halves. Refrigerate the assembled dessert until it is chilled and set, preferably for a few hours or overnight before serving.

- Homemade brownies can be substituted with any fudgy brownie recipe you prefer.
- If desired, replace whipped topping with whipped cream made from heavy cream for a fresher taste.
